review of cost savings and revenue enhancement opportunities — worked with a national consulting organization to develop labor efficiency, revenue enhancement and cost savings strategies.

international best practices research project — partnered with Dr. Foster’s Intelligence, based in London, England, in their efforts to establish the world’s first global healthcare indicators research project.  Through this multi-country initiative, the hope is to identify best practice achievement that can be shared with partnering hospitals in an effort to improve healthcare outcomes internationally.  Hospitals in England, Holland, Italy and the United States are expected to participate when the project formally begins in late 2010.
